Rinchen graduated from punjab University chandigarh and is comfortable conversing in many languages including English, Tibetan, Hindi, Nepali,punjabi, and his own native Ladakhi. He truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with visitors, and making sure that they have a pleasurable and rewarding experience in Ladakh.He can usually be found at the home office, located in Leh, Ladakh, except when he is out leading treks or tours.

Ladakh Festival:

Come in September for Ladakh Festival organised by Department of Tourism Leh-Ladakh. Ladakh Festival is held in the famous Polo ground of Leh, near the very great Palace of King Singge Namgail called Namgail Palace.

The festival includes Polo matches, Cultural Programmes, Mask dances, tastes to Ladakhi foods and Arts of Ladakh. People from other parts of world also organises programmes like World Music Festival, displaying their talents in Songs and Sports.
